Hi, my name is Jeremy Dou. I am a junior studying Computer Science at the University of Michigan who is actively looking for potential Summer 2021 Product Management, Business Analytics, Finance/Investment/VC Internship opportunities.

Some of the relevant courses that I've taken/am currently taking are Data Structures/Algorithms, Software Engineering, Computer Organization, Autonomous Robotics, Data-Oriented Programming, Theory of Computation, Digital Product Design, Entrepreneurship Marketing, Linear Algebra, Venture Capital, Probability/Statistics, and Information Consulting.

In July 2020, I started working at Deloitte Consulting as a Business Analyst Intern. Later in October, I joined Tesla as a Business Analyst & Strategy Intern. These two experiences, along with my previous experiences, have greatly trained my communication, presentation, and analytical skills. I've grown a lot and learned how to become a reliable team player. Currently, I am working at ByteDance (Parent Company of TikTok) as a Product Management Intern, where I am able to apply the technical knowledge that I learned in school in the real world to help brainstorm and come up with more exciting features on TikTok. I am confident that my experiences have greatly prepared me for my next internship. I look forward to keep learning and growing!

At school, I am currently a part of the Technology Professional Fraternity Kappa Theta Pi at UM. I've learned a lot about technology/professionalism/career from my fellow brothers. I also got a valuable opportunity to network with a group of talented and diligent students on campus. I also played club basketball. Throughout the experience, I've become not just a better player, but a better person with a great sense of perseverance and teamwork. I know how to work with a team and a coach/mentor. In addition, I participated in the Engineering Operations division of the UM Solar Car Team. I helped the team on the Engineering Operations end. I was in charge of evaluating/buying/shipping gears and equipment such as sensors and cameras that were needed for the 2019 World Solar Challenge in Australia.

After all those years of trying, learning and growing, I am ready to take a step forward to embrace more greater opportunities and challenges in the future.

Since high school, I already discovered my interests in the field of technology. I founded Kookoat.com, an online platform with simple UI and access for my high school classmates to interact with each other. As a matter of fact, I received over $25,000 in investment, and I was one of the finalists for the 2017 Bay Area Pitch Fest. To view the Keynote presentation by Jeremy Dou, please visit here. Due to my great passion for the game of basketball, I've been working on a personal project lately. It's a program written in C++ that allows the users to look up NBA players' stats/2K ratings. Users are able to simulate a single NBA game or an entire season. The users are also able to analyze a player's current performance and predict a player's potential future performance based on a great variety of different factors with the software and the Jeremy Dou's Basketball Player's Index Algorithm™. I've been working remotely as a private investment consultant for the past few months during the COVID-19 pandemic. I‘ve helped over 25 clients from all over the world (San Francisco, California, Ann Arbor, Michigan, New York, New York, Toronto, Canada, Shanghai, China, Singapore, Singapore, Hong Kong SAR, China) with coming up with investment strategies and designing portfolio. My group of clients has a great variety that ranges from college students with little fund and no previous investment experiences to young professionals with some fund and a decent amount of investment knowledge. Around early June, 2020, my clients' portfolios have gained a net growth of over 100,000 US dollars. I have different plans and mindsets for different clients with different perspectives and goals, and I am sure there has to be a right one for everybody. A lot of my clients think the best time to invest has already passed, but I am here to tell them that it's not.
